Newer directions will be easier to take once I'm managing on my own again. But if no one means me any harm, I mean them none. That's about as good as I care to manage right now.

If you mean, am I running out of things to say when I am accustomed to most conversations being rather short and clipped? Then yes. But if you feel especially compelled to continue again, I am not put off. There is also always those letters you mentioned.
