"True. And I don't see a hospital room as particularly relaxing. At least you didn't end up with a roommate."

He chuckled.

"I know they're not true memories, but during med school, I was checking in on an elderly patient who had to share a room with another elderly lady. The second one had severe dementia and would say 'hey hey hey' every two minutes. My patient was in for cat scratch fever in her leg." He chuckled and shook his head. "She wasn't allowed out of bed, but I swear she was about ready to get up just to smother her roommate with a pillow."
