You have reached the office of Mister Gold. I cannot answer you at the moment. Please leave a detailed message, and I will return your call at my earliest convenience.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Iiiiii am also very curious and a bit nosy, though.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Re: text; un: mr.gold
It really didn't. And now I'm torn between trying to be polite and respecting your privacy and just giving into my nosy tendencies.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Please do! And in the meantime, I might just keep asking questions until you tell me to stop.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
[ And that's a little surprising. He doesn't totally trust it, but there's a lot less pressure for other things. ]
Re: text; un: mr.gold
How old are you? Your profile said 40+, but 42 can be 40+ and so can 150.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Oh, same--the age bit, at least. How often do you encounter kidnappers that you have a rule regarding them??
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Re: text; un: mr.gold
It's very unfortunate that I can understand THAT as well.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Re: text; un: mr.gold
I feel that. I feel that so hard.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
So does hosting take up much of your time?
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Not particularly. The club isn't so popular that I'll be penalized for taking an evening off. And, being a vampire, I only do have evenings and nights.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Re: text; un: mr.gold
I'm afraid I'm very much restricted to indoor spaces if I wake during the day. I spend a lot of my time on the Network. In the evenings, I visit friends or go to work. It's not a particularly exciting time, but I enjoy it.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Re: text; un: mr.gold
What sort of place are you looking for? Even public housing in the Up isn't bad.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
[ Hence one more reason why his first appearance on the network was him tearing the place apart ]
Anyway, modern luxury to me is just very stark and characterless, not to my tastes.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Something warmer, then. Exposed wooden beams and white-washed walls? Or are you more of the luxe wallpaper and golden brocade type? ...Though I must admit, you seem to be more the type to prefer the former rather than the latter.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
Re: text; un: mr.gold
This would be easier if I had something other than just the one photo to go off of, but between that and your voice and our conversation...
You strike me as the kind of guy who would be right at home in a cozy cottage at the edge of the woods, full stuff but not cluttered, not even controlled chaos. With high ceilings and lots of open space, but also textures? Leather armchairs and wooden floors, lamps instead of overhead lights, a stone fireplace?
Re: text; un: mr.gold
You have me at something of a disadvantage.
Re: text; un: mr.gold
[ Johnny laughs again, shaking his head as he responds to the text. ]
I didn't mean to make you feel that way. For what it's worth, I've lived in every sort of scenario, and am old enough that I appreciate modern conveniences for what they are. I'm a bit partial to more contemporary interior design, but that's a recent thing. Ultimately, my preference is just for comfort and luxury.
